Bulgarian Geography

Our written part of our project is about the geography of Bulgaria. Bulgaria has many different types of geography.
Bulgaria is slightly larger than Tennessee and covers 42,823 square miles. It is very mountainous and a known mountain range is the Rila Mountains containing Mount Musala which is 9,597 feet on the Balkan Peninsula.
The Black Sea is located to the east of Bulgaria. The Danube River is the northern border that seperates Bulgaria from Romania.
The climate is almost the same as the Midwest area of the United States with cold, snowy winters and hot, dry summers. The Northern areas are colder than the Southern areas.
As the beginning stated Bulgaria has many different forms of geography. That is our written segment of our project. I hope you enjoyed it.
