PRODUCTIONS:
One of the poorest republics of Yugoslavia was Bosina and Herzegovina and the wars only made things worse. Their prodution decreased 90 percent between 1990 and 1996. Socialist military industries are idle today; many other state plants are closed, overstaffed, or barely functioning. Also Bosnia and Herzegovina are in resettlement in a enormous economic challange,and their unemployment averages 40 percent. Investsments, corrupution, government, hinders economic recovery. Besides all these problems, the international business loans, reconstruction, and investment benefits are being realized. Some of the incomes are rising, but unemployment is still at a average of 40 percent.

TRANSPORTATION:
Public trolley lines serve most of Sarajevo the capital of Bosnia and Hezegovina while public buses provide transportation through major cities. Passenger train travel because of war damages is limited. Many other people though use horse-drawn carts,bicycles, or just walk. Bosnia and Hezegovina has 4 international airports.

EDUCATION:
Education is free to citizens at all levels. Students who can pay university tuition are allowed to enroll even if the normal entrance quotas are filled. After 8th grade, students must pass a matriculation exam then they get a workbook. Without it they can not get a job. Bosnians education is very important to them.

HEALTH:
Primary health care is free to all citizens, but most treatments and medicines need to be paid for by patients. Some rural clinics destroyed in the war have not been rebuilt. Private clinics have multiplied since the war, but many cannot afford their hospital fees.
Health challenges that are the greatest problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina are lack of proper hygiene, tuberculosis,cancer, and kidney ailments caused by unpurified water.


MONEY:
They use the Euro in Bosnia and Herzegovnia. The Euro is worth more in value than the American Dollar and they have 200 and 500 dollar bills in Euros instead of stoping at 100. Euro bills have certain sizes for each bill. The more the bills amount increases the more the bills size increases. The Euros coins are like our American quarters each country that uses the Euros has their country`s name and somthing important to them on the tail side of the coin but all the face sides of the coins are the same.
