Industry:

The country of Belgium is highly industrialized, with over 75% of the population involved with the service industry. The labor force is very skilled becasue Belgians are naturally intelligent and hard working. The city of Brussels is where the most amount of economic activity is held, because this is the largest city in Belgium. Even though Belgium's economics is very unreliant on agriculture, about one forth of the countries soil is suitable.

Exports:

Belgium is one of the world's leading exporters of wool, beer, and meat, with their prime export being Belgian Steel. Most of Belgium's trade is involved with surrounding European countries including Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The wealth in Belgium is well distributed.


Currency:

The currency of Belgium starting in 1979 was the Belgian Franc, up until 2002 when they became a member of the European Union (EU), therefore adopting the Euro.
